Great Tool For Removal AND Installing Siding
I just got mine and it's already one of my favorite siding tools. It's designed for removal of vinyl siding, which it does a great job of, but I was equally impressed with how well it can help to install siding. As far as removal goes, slip it on the end of the siding and give a little tug, and your siding is loose. For pieces that go into J channel around windows and installing narrow pieces this tool works great for installing. It helps tug the pieces just right in order for them to snap together properly. For anyone who does siding, this tool is a must have tool

Do You NEED A Review ,To Decide If You Want This Tool???
Hey Man, If you need this tool, nothing else is going to work. As far as an actual review, well, it's better than the previous model. The handle covering kept slipping off of the old one. The way this new one is made, I believe it would be virtually impossible for this handle cover to slip off. This gives you more opportunity to put some power behind your pull and rip siding off at a much faster rate. A "Must Have" tool. I've also found that if I have it on me all the time(in the toolbelt pocket),there are thousands of uses for this tool. Just like my 5-in-1 painters tool, I keep it with me and use it daily.
siding removal tool works great
A hailstorm had damaged several strips of my homes vinyl siding and with the help of this tool, I was able to do the repairs myself and save money. It works great.

Makes the RN46 a siding nailer
This part works well for what its for. It is basically a replacement end for the RN46 that has about 3/16 shaved from the bottom of the tip. This allows you to set the tip of the gun on the locking flange and shoot. The tip also has a protrusion that fits in the slot but we grinded that off because the slots are wide enough to know when you are in them. It is a good addition but the price seems a little high.
There is no replacement for the hammer
I bought this adapter to install vinyl siding, what it is made to do. Had to grind rear of tip off to make it fit siding. Shoots about a 70% accuracy in hitting the hole. By the end of the house I was doing we went back to a hammer and nails.
Siding job
The adapter can certainly work. It does require some extra monitoring to keep the nails lined up and not blowing out the vinyl siding tabs. For the expense of not buying a gun specifically for siding it was certainly worth it. If you expect to get a lot of siding jobs I would probably get a nail gun specific for the task though.
Even melt your vinyl siding from your grill being to close. www.askmediy.com
Everlast Composite Siding Display at the Center of New England Home Show

Central Massachusetts (PRWEB) January 12, 2012
This weekend heralds the start of the Center of New England Home Show where home owners get to see the latest products and get ideas on which materials best suit their home projects. View the massive range of Everlast Composite Siding Products at the New England Home Show to be held at 366 Main Street in Sturbridge on January 14 and 15.
Beset by inclement weather in 2011, Massachusetts residents have endured tornadoes, tropical storms and, most recently, a devastating ice storm. As residents repair the storm damage, they will be looking for products which are stronger and can offer protection against the weather. This is where Everlast excels, with a long term goal to replace all of the current wood and vinyl siding in Massachusetts .
Everlast is immune to the weather and insect damage that wood is plagued by as well as the weather damage and chipping problems with fiber cement siding. Cement board siding contains wood particles which can absorb moisture and this leads to cracking, swelling and a loss of paint adhesion.
WATERFORD — Work has begun to stabilize the historic archway entrance to the Elm Vale Cemetery.
“We're going to start digging next week,” said James Long of James M. Long and Sons of Waterford, who has been contracted to do the work for a cost not to exceed $12,142.
Bill Haynes, a member of the Elm Vale Cemetery Committee and town cemetery superintendent, said the project was necessary to repair rotted bases on the south entrance. It is one of two archways marking the entrance to the cemetery on Sweden Road. The project will stabilize the structure while officials determine how much more money will be needed for the restoration work.
Long said the northern entrance was repaired about 12 years ago and although it leans slightly, it is in fairly good shape. The identical southern archway, which is about 23 to 28 feet tall and 24 feet wide, is the newer of the two archways.
Haynes said he believes the archways were constructed around 1890.

Is it possible to repair vinyl siding?
Aug 17, 2007 by Jennifer E | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
We just bought a house and it seems the children of neighbors were using the side of our house as a practice target. There are dozens of small holes distributed on the house air caused by the weapons that need fixed.
I just saw a TV program about it; It showed how to take sides and to bring new and also to repair small holes, they said Chaulk used to fill the holes clear, then smooth with your finger.

Dr. Vinyl is a franchise ... it means you're more likely to see a local business appear to do your job ... Ask your insurance provider for the number of the company they will have to do the actual work, not just the name of franchise.
